Jon Mendiola

Managing Director, Institutional Sales

Mr. Mendiola comes to Euro Pacific Capital with over 20 years of experience in the Securities Industry, with an emphasis on Institutional Sales, Trading, and Capital Formation. Most recently he ran the Institutional Sales/Capital Markets Division of CK Cooper and Company. Mr. Mendiola joined CK Cooper in 2003, when there were only 6 employees in the firm, and was instrumental in building its energy-focused institutional operations. During their tenure Mr. Mendiola and his business partner Mr. Cave led or co-managed over 50 institutional E&P capital formation transactions, raising well over $1 Billion dollars for their client companies and generating in excess of $25 million dollars in fees for their firm.

Mr. Mendiola is married to his lovely wife Michele. He is the proud father of four beautiful children. Mr. Mendiola is a competition Black Belt in the martial art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The highlight of his Jiu-Jitsu career came in 2012 when he won a Silver Medal in the Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship. He also teaches Jiu-Jitsu classes to children and adults in the Huntington Beach, CA area.
