David’s career with Euro Pacific Capital began in 2008, shortly after having completed his M.A. in Political Science from Columbia University in the City of New York. At Columbia, Mr. Echeverria’s studies focused primarily on issues relating to the international political economy of developing states in Latin America and Asia.
During his time with Euro Pacific, Mr. Echeverria has been instrumental in the successful implementation of Euro Pacific’s Separately Managed Account and Wrap Account platforms. A contributor to Euro Pacific’s Newsletter, Mr. Echeverria has written about investment opportunities in Telecommunications, Mining, Energy, Dividend Paying Strategies, Mexico, Colombia, Asia, and Emerging Markets.
As a member of Euro Pacific Capital, David hopes to help clients employ “out of the box” thinking as they explore investment opportunities outside the United States.
In his free time, David enjoys reading, writing, hiking, scuba diving, and traveling. To date he has traveled across most of Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, India, Southeast Asia, and Oceania. Mr. Echeverria also spent a semester studying at Universidad de Chile and Pontificia Universidad Católicain Santiago, Chile.
Fluent in Spanish, David earned his B.A. in International Relations and Art History from the University of Southern California. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations.
