Marlon Varsace provides investment management advice to serve the needs of high net worth individuals, families, trusts, corporations, and other select long-term investors founded on the principle of an actively-managed portfolio approach. Marlon previously served HNW and ultra-HNW investors with the Private Client Group at Oppenheimer & Co. in New York City.
Hired directly by Peter Schiff in 2006, Marlon was appointed Vice President in 2010. As the senior-most advisor on the east coast, he has cultivated his team into one of the longest standing with the largest amount of assets under management at Euro Pacific Capital. Their core mission is to try and preserve the accumulated wealth of their clients by incorporating EPC’s core philosophy and products into tailored, diversified portfolios which include exposure to foreign currencies, natural resources and commodities as well as precious metals.
Marlon incorporates risk management and fiduciary duty towards the goal of targeted returns or non-U.S. dollar income streams within client specific risk tolerances. Fundamental to his approach to foreign investing and multi-asset portfolios is Marlon’s avid, continued study of economics and finance. His attendance at discussions and seminars focusing on investment policy and portfolio management assists him in gaining an ever-deepening understanding of the critical factors shaping the performance of EPC’s long-term investment strategies.
A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Marlon also attended several classes at Yale University. He speaks Spanish and Italian, and is studying Russian. He and his wife reside in Stamford, CT, and volunteer for not-for-profit and for-profit local agencies.
